Men's golf defeated by Penn State Abington in dual match

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's golf team was defeated by Penn State Abington in a dual match, 384-401, on a windy Wednesday morning on a damp par-70 Philmont Country Club South Course.

Cody Smith carded seven pars to post the best round of the day with a score of 88 (+18).

Julion Lever recorded four pars on his way to a round of 100 (+30), which placed him fifth. Tim Browne made par on the third and eighth holes as he turned in a card with the sixth-place score of 104 (+34). Anthony DePetres concluded Bryn Athyn's team score as he shot 109 (+39) to take seventh.

Shane Nocito and Richard Rhoads led Penn State Abington as they tied for second place with a score of 89 (+19).

Bryn Athyn returns to action in the Ursinus Spring Invitational on Tuesday, April 10 at Stonewall Golf Club in Elverson, Pa.
