Men's golf takes eighth at the end of the two-day NEAC Championship

WILIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's golf team concluded its 2018 campaign by finishing in eighth place in two-day North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship which concluded on Sunday at the Williamsport Country Club.

The Lions wrapped up the tournament with a team score of 786 (+218) after shooting a score of 393 for the second straight day.

Cody Smith was Bryn Athyn's top golfer on Sunday as he shot 93 (+22), a two-shot improvement from Saturday, to finish the tournament with a two-day score of 188 (+46). Smith ended the event in 32nd place.

Tim Browne had a second-round score of 102 (+31) to complete the event with the 35th-place score of 196 (+54). Julion Lever turned a scorecard of 98 (+27), three strokes better than Saturday, to wrap up the Tournament in 36th place with a score of 199 (+57). Connor Devereux's round of 100 (+29) was three shots lower than round one and had him end up in 37th with a two-day score of 203 (+61).

Penn State Berks won the team championship with a combined score of 630 (+62). Host Penn College and Rutgers-Camden were tied for second with a score of 638 (+70).

Andrew Cornish from Penn State Berks won the individual title with a score of 148 (+6).
