Bryn Athyn, Pa.- . Bryn Athyn men's lacrosse broke in the new field in today's afternoon action against future conference opponent Cazenovia.
Sean Feyler collected four of the Lion's nine goals leading the Lions in points on board. Luke Fraizer scored two goals. Terrence Johnson scored a goal and one assist. Daniel Triesler and Kieran Ragan scored a goal each.
Feyler scored the first goal, two minutes of the game he was assisted by Nick Fetko. Cazenovia responded with their own goal four minutes later. With a man down Luke Frazier to take a 2-1 lead with 6:47 left in the first quarter. However, Cazenovia won the first quarter scoring two goals to take a 3-2 lead.
The Lion's had their best quarter in the second, scoring four goals to Cazenovia one goal. Feyler picked up two more goals and Triesler, Johnson, and Travis McCurdy would paint the box score with a goal and two assists respectively. Lions headed into the second half with momentum and the lead in the half.
The third quarter proved to be a tough one for the Lions, as they fell 10-7. The Lions came up strong in the fourth scoring 3 goals. Their efforts were muted by Cazenovia's counter goals. This would not be the counter action in an equally statistical game. The game proved to be tight as shots, turnovers, ground balls, and penalties varied slightly in Cazenovia's favor.
Robert Moran tallied 11 saves.
They Lion's return to action Wednesday against Alvernia, for a 4:00 pm game time.
