Men's Tennis Falls to Lancaster Bible

Bryn Athyn, Pa.- The Bryn Athyn College men's tennis team fell 8-1 to Lancaster Bible in Thursday afternoon action.

Anthony Lac and Duncan Asplundh fell 8-0 at first doubles. At the no. 2 spot Blake McCurdy and Andrew Dexter dropped 8-0, while Johnny Walker and Phillip Brandt lost 8-0 at third doubles.

Blake McCurdy recorded the lone win for the Lions in the fifth singles slot, defeating his opponent 7-6, 6-2, winning the tiebreak in set one 7-5. Lac dropped 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, while Asplundh was defeated 6-0, 6-0 at the no. 2 spot. Cook fell 6-0, 6-1 at third singles, and Dexter dropped 6-0, 6-0 in the no. 4 spot. Walker battled at sixth singles, but was defeated 6-3, 7-6, losing the tiebreak in set two 7-5.

The Lions head on the road Saturday, April 6th to face Arcadia. The match is set to begin at 12:00 pm.
