Volleyball Celebrates End of the Year Awards
Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women’s volleyball team celebrated the end of their season tonight. Head Coach Adina Petersmeyer noted highlights of the year and end of the year awards were handed out.

Holly Adams – Lion’s Award This award recognizes individuals who promote the values of sportsmanship, ethical play in competition, commitment to their team, and charity through service to their community. Adams is a great leader and captain who has earned the respect of her teammates, opponents and coaches. She understands the vision of Bryn Athyn College and promotes the values in which the college upholds. |

Brooke Blair – Coach’s Award Given annually by the coach to a volleyball player who best demonstrates, throughout the season, the true spirit of Bryn Athyn. Blair has a quiet work ethic, she has fun but steps up when coaches need her to focus. She is a very coachable player who can play any position and is versatile on the court. |

Kaitlyn Brock – MVP Brock led the Lions with 198 kills and 142 digs, with a .36 kill average. Coach Petersmeyer expressed how she was an important part of team and lead the team to success. She is a natural leader who can adjust to situations and bring out the best in her teammates. She has been described by other coaches, as a “beast” and “stud” on the court. |
