Bryn Athyn, PA- The Bryn Athyn College women's volleyball team fell 3-0 in the first game of their quad-match to College of St. Elizabeth. The game scores were 25-21, 25-18, and 25-11.
Holly Adams led the team with six kills and 14 digs. Cathleen Curran recorded 13 digs, while Kaitlyn Brock added six kills and nine digs. Cree Gurney dished out 18 assists.
In the third game of the quad match, the Lions lost to Bryn Mawr 3-0. The game scores were 25-19, 25-14, and 25-17.
Coach Petersmeyer expressed, "The girls fought hard today against some tough teams and we're looking forward to playing Penn St. Brandywine on Tuesday."
Curran expressed, "We impressed ourselves with our level of play today. And we always have to remember that matter what team you are, and no matter how good you are, there's always room for improvement."
The Lions return to the court Tuesday, September 11th against Penn St. Brandywine. The match is slated for 7:00pm.
