CLINTON, N.Y. – The Bryn Athyn College men's ice hockey team suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Hamilton College in the Russell Sage Rink Sunday afternoon.
Stephen Cochrane opened the scoring at 14:43 of the opening period with a goal assisted by Jordi Jefferson and Justin Felhaber. After a scoreless second period that saw Hamilton's Sean Storr make nine saves and Bryn Athyn's McKenzie Chalmers stop six shots, Cochrane increased the Continental lead to two at 8:28 into the third.
Chalmers ended the game with 24 stops on 26 shots. Storr earned the shutout for Hamilton (1-1-0) by stopping all 23 shots he faced.
Bryn Athyn (2-2-1) was 0-for-4 on the power play, while Hamilton was 0-for-3.
The Lions face King's (Pa.) on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
