Men's soccer upended at Clarks Summit

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss to host Clarks Summit Saturday afternoon.

After a very defensive first half that resulted in a scoreless deadlock, Clarks Summit  (3-7-1, 1-1-0 CSAC0 broke through at the 55:16 mark on a Jan Rodriguez goal. David Lawrence played a low cross from the right side of the penalty area to start the sequence. The ball made it to the center of the box where Rodriguez would poke it into an open net.

In his first start in goal, Michael Haas made three saves. The Defenders' Liam Hungate did not have to make a save.

Bryn Athyn (0-11-0, 0-2-0 CSAC) travels to Keystone for a CSAC contest on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
